ABET accreditation
Carnegie Mellon University’s Civil, Chemical, Electrical and Computer, Materials Science and Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering undergraduate programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, Inc.
ABET mandates that every program disclose specific information to the public, including their Program Educational Objectives, Student Outcomes, accreditation status, and data regarding student enrollments and degrees awarded.
